Who I am
Hi, I’m a student manager for the University of Nevada, Reno Women’s Basketball Team, and someone who is deeply passionate about the sport. I grew up in El Dorado Hills, California, where basketball quickly became a major part of my life. After playing throughout my childhood, I developed not only a strong knowledge of the game but also an understanding of what it means to be part of a team—on and off the court.
My Education
I’m currently attending UNR, majoring in Management and Marketing with a minor in Sports Management. My academic path reflects my long-term goal of building a career in college athletics and developing the skills needed to lead, communicate, and operate within a collegiate sports environment.
Experience
- Played basketball throughout my youth, building a technical and strategic understanding of the game.
- Gained hands-on experience as a student manager for UNR Women’s Basketball.
- Developed strong communication skills while working closely with peers, coaches, and athletes.
- Learned how to support players effectively in a coaching context, from instruction to motivation.
Career Goals
My dream is to build a career in college basketball coaching. I’m working toward becoming a Graduate Assistant, which is the next step in my coaching journey. Eventually, I hope to become:
- A Director of Basketball Operations for a women’s college program
- And ultimately, a college basketball coach who mentors athletes and helps shape successful teams
- Basketball, especially at the college level, is something I can talk about endlessly. It’s not just a sport to me; it’s a passion, a community, and the career path I’m committed to.
